Fishing has long been the number one attraction of our camp visitors. During the spring months of February, March, and April, the annual white bass run occurs. The sand bass, or white bass as they are called, come from Lake Buchanan upstream to spawn in the waters of Sulphur Springs Camp, Inc. During these months it is not unusual for people to catch their limit in a very short time. The Colorado River offers many types of fish to be caught. Catfish such as Channel Catfish, Flathead Yellow Cat Catfish, and Chuckleheaded Blue Catfish, White Bass, Carp, Stripers, Crappie, Buffalo, Gar, Perch, and many other kinds are here for the angler to pursue. |
