he Nova Scotia Snowboard Association helps snowboard athletes reach their competitive potential through training and competition. Our association has been instrumental in developing the sport of snowboarding in Atlantic Canada through our annual training leagues and provincial competition series. We also provide athletes with the structure and support to reach their goals of high level competition and currently boast two Olympians. The NSSA is a non-profit organization, a member of the Canadian Snowboard Federation, and an active member of Sport Nova Scotia. |

New Zealand Snowboard Association |
The New Zealand Snow Safety Institute located at Temple Basin Ski Area offers a series of alpine courses throughout the year on aspects of mountaineering, climbing, avalanche safety, backcountry ski and snowboarding. The courses are designed for those involved with skiing, snowboarding, climbing and mountaineering and want to improve their understanding of the mountain environment so as to be safer within it. Other courses cater for experienced skiers and snowboarders wanting to train as ski patrollers. |

The International Judging Commission has been established by the world top snowboard judges to promote snowboard judging ideals based exclusively on rider input and freestyle snowboard experts. Today we work together with competition organisers all over the world to ensure that snowboarding contests are run according to rules made by snowboarders for snowboarders. |

Bulgarian Snowboard Federation (BGSF) was founded in October 1994 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In April 1995 BGSF was officially recognised by International Snowboard Federation (ISF) and Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) . In January 1995 the first races in GS and Slope Style was organised. Actually the first snowboarders was seen in Bulgaria in 1987/88, but the snowboarding became popular in 1993/94. Now a day the snowboarders in Bulgaria are about 4 to 5 thousand out of the 8 million population. In BGSF Ranking List are registered 240 competitors - men and women. There are five main winter resorts in Bulgaria with good snow conditions from January to March - Borovets, Pamporovo, Chepelare, Bansko and Vitosha. |
