Description:
I started building my own model boats, for want of solid epoxy boats in Europe.
I learned the method of building the mother boat (plug) from a friend, who was building his own surf boards.
The plug was built up out of foam, and covered with epoxy resin and cloth. Partly, aluminum and wood were used, and a lot of filler. Weight did not matter here because afterwards, epoxy molds would be built.
I also have developed my own hardware (for example engine mounts and struts), and, after a lot of testing and experimenting with boats and hardware, my boats are reliable and fast...
