Description: The home port of our fleet is Marina Monnickendam. It is situated on the Gouwzee, an open connection with the Ijsselmeer. The Marina is a modern one and offers you ample parking near your yacht.. Because the prevailing winds are southwesterly and the Gouwzee is embraced by dikes, therefore calm water, it offers you the time and space to get used to your yacht and it also enables you, even in rough weather, to go to the nice fishing villages such as Volendam and Marken. A safe return to Monnickendam is therefore always possible.
