Description: Goal of the Dutch meteorogical and climatological association (VWK) is to support and encourage the popular-scientific study of weather and climate. The association was founded in 1974 and we have about 1000 "weather amateurs" as members. The activities and interests of our members are very extensive. Many of them have comprehensive observation networks and the data are sometimes of use in (scientific) research
