Description: The following pages have information concerning mountain biking, rock climbing, and windsurfing in Alabama. The windsurfing information refers to the Alabama Coastline. If you know of good windsurfing sites inland, I would like to hear about them! Mountain biking in Alabama might be an oxymoron, it just depends on how you define a "Mountain." Given our limited elevation changes, we managed to have a few parks with mountain biking trails: Chickasabogue, Oak Mountain, Munny Sokol...but many trails are created by kids in the neighborhood. The most difficult thing about mountain biking in Alabama is finding the trails. There are plenty, but you have to know where to look.
